DVS Around the World...

So a friend is in NYC and sent back this flick of my DVS sticker that he placed oh so perfectly and took this even more perfect photo of. and that gave me the idea. so now I'm on a mission to send my lost brother Joseph (DVS) all around the world. and here's the photo that started it all, and  my mission statement:

I've always said I love seeing my stickers places I've never been, this one's special though, this one I don't really conciser my sticker because I wouldn't have even made it if my friend hadn't passed, so it's his. This is my favorite sticker I've ever made, my tribute to someone I love dearly. Props to the homie, Fang,  for leaving our brother in NYC. Anyone else traveling out of state/country, or anyone seeing this who lives outside of Corpus Christi, Texas, or the USA and wants to help me spread my lost brothers memory around the world,  please hit me up with an address @ vgclothing@gmail.com subject: "traveling DVS stickers". All I ask is a couple of photos of the sticker somewhere that it's noticeable of what city, state, country it's been placed in. I'd love to have more pictures of these things posted up all over the world. every DVS sticker pack mailed out will include a couple of my other random stickers I've made throughout the years.  I'd really like for this to be a success,  If you want to help, I'd greatly appreciate this. Inspiration the Hard Way...

Today I had one homie let me know he started and is almost done putting his bike project together, and then the homie Peezy out in Washington sends me this picture of his Metric chop, letting me know he's well on his way and will be done with this madness by November.

...and here I am just collecting parts, with no time to wrench. I'm inspired now by all my asshole friends and their bikes being almost finished haha I love them all. It's damn good to have brothers that know you need a kick in the ass now and then.

Barred Out...

I haven't posted in a while, life's been nothing but work and work... I did score these lanesplitter's from the homie Kmack though. traded for some vinyl cuts. which now that I post this up I realize I need to get my ass to cutting.

I love bartering. if I have a skill that can help you out I'm always more then willing to trade that skill for rad shit. that being said, I hope the barter gods bless me with more cool parts for my chop.

Last weekend I lost one of my best friends...

Over the past few days it's been hard to focus on anything at all, work, life, sleep. Everything seems so pointless when one min you're standing face to face with a person you consider family and the next min you're in the hospital waiting, not knowing, watching everyone around you break down. Then you find out they're gone. Life's never predictable. It's true, the greatest people are those who leave trails of life behind them where ever they go. These past few day's I've seen literally hundreds of people cross my path all with the same love for this little asshole from a small town in South Texas no one's ever even heard of. Because he was real, true, and everything a friend should be, to anyone that crossed his path. Joseph touched so many people, and to stand there today while we buried him and see all those faces there to say goodbye to a great man, was amazing.I'm proud to call you my little brother, my family, my friend.
